On November 15, 2019, Signature Theatre held a closed reading of Camille Claudel, book and lyrics by Nan Knighton and music by Frank Wildhorn. The reading starred Jackie Burns, of Broadway's Wicked and If/Then, as well as Hugh Panaro of The Phantom of the Opera and Side Show.
The musical will receive its world premiere production at Virginia's Signature Theatre March 24-April 19, 2020.
