Pimpernel Reopens in Germany
(1 November 2003)
The German-langauge premiere production of The Scarlet Pimpernel will reopen for its
second season at the Opernhaus Halle in Halle, Germany on 1 November. Eleven performances are
expected, through March of 2004. Christoph Goetten joins the cast as Percy, with Ann-Christin
Elverum and Christopher Murray continuing in the roles of Marguerite and Chauvelin. These
performers are joined by the cast and orchestra on the German Cast Recording, which will be

Fever Tour Resumes In Italy

The Italian tour of Saturday Night Fever is beginning its second leg, on 5 November.
A new cast is currently preforming previews in Milan through 3 November. The show will then
take to the road, with dates planned through February 2004. The new dates have been posted on
the Italian SNF Tour Page.
Pimpernel Returns To Australia

The Scarlet Pimpernel opens for its second production in Australia, running 17
October through 1 November 2004. The show is the 30th Anniversary Production of NOVA Music
Theatre, and is being presented at the Whitehorse Centre in Nunawading, Victoria. Learn more at

Camille Claudel Has Successful Run

The world premiere production of Camille Claudel, which played its final
performances at the Norma Terris Theater on 7 September, was very well-received. Photos from
opening night have been posted in a
Broadway.com Photo Op.
Future production plans for the show are currently being discussed. It is hoped that the show
will open on Broadway, and details will be posted here as they are confirmed and announced.

Fever Back On Tour In The U.S.

The third U.S. tour of Saturday Night Fever is under way, with its second stop
opening in Biloxi, MS, on 4 September. The tour is a non-equity production by Troika

Goodspeed Musicals' Norma Terris Theater, in Chester, Connecticut. The show runs through 7
September 2003, with Linda Eder, Michael Nouri, Matt Bogart, Rita Gardner and Milo O'Shea

Pimpernel Returns To Suffolk, England

A production of The Scarlet Pimpernel has been announced to take place August 29 and
30 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England. The Staging will be presented at Theatre Royal by
Fruitcake Productions of the Lights, Music, Action Stage School. Learn more at the

Two cast updates have just been announced for Camille Claudel. The role of Madame
Claudel, previously announced to be performed by Joan Copeland, will now be filled by Rita
Gardner. There is also a new addition to the ensemble: Antonia Kitsopoulos will portray Young

The Opernhaus Halle concludes its first season of performances of The Scarlet
Pimpernel on 13 June. The German-language premiere production will return for further

Fever wins Best Musical Award in Netherlands
(15 May 2003)
The production of Saturday Night Fever which took place in Utrecht, The Netherlands,
has been named Best Musical of 2003 at the Stichting Musical Awards ceremony. The staging at
the Beatrix Theater closed in February of this year, after a run of 601 performances that
entertained over 700,000 audience members. The award was presented on 12 May 2003. To learm

Pimpernel to Play in Lowestoft, England

The Lowestoft Players will present the next production of The Scarlet Pimpernel in

Final Performance of Fever Tour in Italy

The Italian tour of Saturday Night Fever plays its final performance at the Teatro
Nazionale in Milano, 17 April. The tour began 5 November 2002 in Rome, and has played in eleven

The Scarlet Pimpernel had its New Zealand premiere in a production of 8-10 April
2003. The show was presented by Hillcrest High School at the WestpacTrust Community Theatre in
Hamilton, New Zealand.

Nan's new play, Man With Two Hearts Found on Moon, had its first reading at the
Roundabout Theater, March 27. Featured in the cast of the reading were Swoosie Kurtz, Neil
Patrick Harris, Marc Kudisch, David Cromwell, Daniel Davis, Mary Louise Wilson, Marylouise
Burke, Ben Shenkman and Marcy Harriell. Learn more about the play and the

Camille Claudel Confirmed for Goodspeed Musicals' Norma Terris Theater

Camille Claudel, the new musical collaboration between Nan Knighton and Frank
Wildhorn, will have its world premiere performance at Goodspeed Musicals' Norma Terris
Theater in Chester, CT. The news was confirmed today by Goodspeed Musicals in an announcement
on Playbill Online. Performances
will take place from August 14 through September 7, 2003. Tickets can currently be purchased as
part of the Norma Terris season subscription, by calling the box office at (860) 873-8668 or
visiting the Goodspeed Musicals Website. Linda Eder is
set to star in the show, Gabriel Barre will direct and Jeremy Roberts will serve as musical

Pimpernel Premieres in Scotland

Continuing a series of productions throughout the UK, The Scarlet Pimpernel has its
Scottish premiere in Leven, Fife, 11-15 March. The staging is presented at The Centre by the
Leven Amateur Musical Association.

The Sacramento Bee ran an article this weekend discussing the U.S. national tour of
Saturday Night Fever. Nan gave an interview for this, in which she discussed the

Fever on the Road Again in the UK

The UK tour of Saturday Night Fever has gotten under way once more. The first stop
plays at the Churchill Theater in Bromley, 3-15 March, and venues have been announced through 3
January 2004. A new website has been launched for the UK production as well.

The Official Nan Knighton Website is currently going through a change of management. The new
webmaster, Peter Williams, thanks previous webmaster Shari Perkins for all that she has done
with the website in the past several years! In the coming weeks and months there will be
several changes to the site, and I appreciate your patience as I get settled in.
